Contrasting sonic images and references to musical styles are brought closely together to create high tension. The piece is articulated in convulsions and outbursts of an unstable nature trying to communicate laughter, crying and craving for affection. The behavior of the interleaved sound streams unfolding out of the raga changes from soothing to raging to tender and nostalgic again, finding no release except for few moments of rest before a bigger outburst. The piece is also a study on the electric guitar, as most of the material was generated on a Fender Stratocaster played in any imaginable way. The resulting array of sounds and phrases was enriched by careful implementation of spectral transformations such as time stretching and transposition.
