Textures immersed in noise, movement through layers of veil. Broken pieces levitate. Echoes in glimmering light, slowly modulating. Harsh elements that melt together into a spectral carpet that lifts off and spirals in. I layered and sculpted timbral improvisations done on virtual analog synthesizers, imposing a length restriction - under ten minutes - for a piece that could last much longer, as the sense of time warps in interesting ways with this kind of material. This is the first part of a collection that explores the idea of the electronic dive out of time, into the depths of some hidden world within.
