The piece integrates various types of material into a stream of interrelated short scenes. Transformed environmental sounds and speech shape a dynamic collage of personal memories, with the mutated sound of a door separating different places of action. Instrumental phrases mediate these shifts by becoming part of the frantic activity, until they are left free to unfold towards the end of the piece.
